Phoenix Built-Ins
Built-in desks, shelving and wall beds that turn a spare room into a room you use every day.
A spare bedroom often has to be an office, a guest room and a storage room at once. Freestanding furniture fills the floor and still leaves papers and cables everywhere.
Built-ins run along a wall instead. A desk with file drawers below and cabinets above keeps work in one place, and a wall bed folds away when guests aren't staying.
We plan around outlets, windows and the closet door that's already there. If you want new outlets at desk height, that's electrical work, and the City of Phoenix lists electrical updates as needing a permit.

| Room use | Built-ins that help | Plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Office only | Desk run, file drawers, shelves | Cable routes and desk-height outlets |
| Office and guest room | Desk plus a wall bed | Clearance for the bed to fold down |
| Office and storage | Desk plus tall cabinets | Doors that hide supplies and files |
| Living room media | TV wall with cabinets | Ventilation for equipment |
Yes. Some wall beds fold down over a desk surface, and others sit beside a desk run. We measure clearance for both.
Cabinetry fastened to existing walls usually doesn't. New outlets or circuits are electrical updates, which the City of Phoenix lists as needing a permit.
We can match paint colors and choose door styles that suit the room.
Yes. We add cable grommets, a closed cabinet for the printer and space for a power strip.
